I would go through room by room and decide what I want to change/improve. This is a nice to have list.

Assuming money is not unlimited, then u go through the list again, to identify what you can do without. Eg.. my BIL wants white tiles for his condo, so he wanna change it. But, if $ is a constraint, then why change sthg that is still decent?

Assuming all the stuff on the wish list is a must have, but u dont have enough $$ now, then u got to do the structural improvemnts first. The nice cabinets and RM10k mattress can always be added later...

Overall, budget is the most important factor.

Also, your plan for the condo also determine how far u intend to go with the facelift. If u are likely to upgrade in a few years, you may not want to splurge unnecessarily becuz the reno costs will not be fully reflected in the resale price or rental prospects in the future..
