How to shave pubic hair?
Get a shaver and start shaving.

And no, not everyone shave their pubic hair. Not everyone have lots of pubic hair. Some people don't have much. It also depends what kind of bikini you are wearing.

Shaving is not the only solution. There's waxing, trimming, tweezing, etc. Shaving is the most common as it does not have a pain factor in it. But it's not the most favourable way of removing pubic hair as the regrowth is very fast depending on individual. Some also claims that it will grow back to be thicker and more coarse. Besides, it will be very itchy.

The pubic area is also a very sensitive area. Which means removing hair can be quite painful and it will disturb your skin. So after care is very important to calm your skin and prevent infections.

Other than that, which part of your pubic area do you want hairless? Just the bikini line or completely hairless?
Shaving just the bikini line is peanut. If you wanna remove all the hair down under then that's a tougher job to do.

Shaving is hell. You'd have to be a meticulous, conscientious shaver who shaves everyday or you'll be facing the godawful itchy regrowth.

I've only shaved once and swore NEVER to do it again. Right now I just trim it for cleanliness purposes- and it's not so bad, since I don't have that much- it's just very long. (Bear with the details)

There is IPL, though it's incredibly expensive and takes a long time- though the effects are permanent or you grit your teeth and bear with the pain of waxing. You may also want to try an epilator (electronic, you can get them at electronic stores), which is similar to waxing, but doesn't involve messy wax (just as painful, I reckon). There are special wax strips just for the bikini area, which are smaller and more narrow strips.

Don't know about you, but some people use hair removal creams on that area as well, though not directly on the vaginal or labial area- bikini area is still pretty far. But if you do decide to go that route, you have to so a patch test first to see if your skin is sensitive in that area.

Epilator can be VERY PAINFUL for beginners. laugh.gif
If you ask me, between epilator and waxing, I'd choose waxing, the pain intensity is the same but the duration to remove the hair is much shorter.

Wax strips that are bought from Watsons/Guardian are very painful as well. I find hot wax a lot more bearable.

The best method is still waxing but it's expensive to go wax every few weeks/months.
Nowadays, I DIY my own 'wax'. The method is call Sugaring, some call it sugar waxing but it's not exactly wax. Google it, you'll find lots of info. Very messy though. wink.gif

Haha. It was like that for me too. Took me almost a month or two before I decided to go to the stove to make the sugar. Lol

Does anyone know the price for permanent removal? Armpits only.

I'm currently doing eLight treatment for my underarms. Paid around RM800-900 but it was thru Groupon kinda discount. Those group deals often have permanent hair removal treatment so try checking those websites. Normal price if not mistaken is at least RM1.5k or so. There are also different methods but I'm not very familiar with it.
