I don't think options expiry matters that much, Gold has often gone up during options expiry. The biggest negative influence on Gold right now is the margin hikes. Gold and Silver should start to go up by Monday night or Tuesday.

just to share

Nonsense, who tell u that?? Your friend is a SVP of the commodities division of Morgan Stanley or what? How can you claim to know any tipoff or whatever....baseless rumors.

Mind you, I'm not saying it won't drop further but your fearmongering is not doing this forum any favors.

Its Morgan Stanley who are manipulating the mkts, its JPM............look at the shorts they are holding on PMs.

Yes, I know, but Im just saying that the forummers shouldn't go around spreading 'tipoffs' unless they heard it from someone who actually is influencing the prices...otherwise they shouldn't be spreading baseless rumors.

1200 is a very ambitious price to aim for don't you think? I think 14xx-1550 is possible but 1200? One thing for sure, even if it happen, it ain't gonna happen this week or next week.

Ok, those who said that they wanted to wait as they were afraid it will drop some more I hope you can get the idea that we have reached the bottom already yesterday and that you can buy some more..

How do you know that we have reach the bottom now? any proof to back-up your statement? hmm.gif

It may not have bottomed yet, but it will rebound for now. There is no proof but indications. I initially suspected we had hit the bottom on Friday but the margin hike increase through a spanner into this. Its quite simple really, after such a sharp selloff, the price is bound to rebound. And we got a very clear rebound pattern, a sharp rise through above 1600 after the bottom. Next target 1700 before another big leg down....

Most bottoms are visited twice or more before the price truly turns up. I think whether or not 1535 the bottom remains to be seen but even if it is, we have to revisit the 1530-1560 at least one more time.

Hi, don't worry u can have the show back.

I don't know what attitude I'm showing but I do know u have a childish attitude. So pls go find other kids to play with.

Hi Quinn, ignore fools like him, he makes outlandish statements which have no basis but yet makes attacks on others like you which actually provide valuable advice. I have been observing his statements, first he say at 18xx that Gold will rally above 2000 and beyond, so please buy Gold quickly. Then when it was at 16xx dropping to 15xx, he makes ridiculous statement that Gold will drop to 1200 in a week. Now its back to 16xx he said Gold will rise. He clearly has no idea what he is saying but he wants to attack others which are far more experienced in the Gold markets than him.

There's it go again, it is not a smart move by labeling others,  wink.gif

We know what happen and i believe that we all are able to make our own judgment.

AGAIN, DONT ADD MORE FLAME. yawn.gif

I don't use that statement lightly, its fine if he's ignorant abt how markets work, but to spread his ignorance around in such a way as tho he is so sure that may influence others to make bad investment decisions, and to attack others which give valuable advice, he really deserves that remark. I have kept quiet for a while but I really have to say something now.

i do think others are able to distinguish what is correct and what is wrong. It is all about "speculation" = high risk = possibility of high profits icon_rolleyes.gif.

Obviously not everyone otherwise we wouldn't have ppl like buysell. To me I feel that even if we want to post our opinions here we have a responsibility on what we post on the Internet, a lot of ppl are reading these statements. It's fine if they screw up their own investments, they only hurt themselves but if they influence others to make bad decisions this is a wrong thing.

LOL are you saying that to yourself? doh.gif From the very start you disturb my post with that face ( whistling.gif ) <--- like this! You have been asking troubles yourself. Go back to kindergarden kid and learn your manner before you speak!
This is a free to speak forum ok, I have my own opinion to share if you don't like it, just leave it. You are the fool not understanding what happening here and why I complaining about him. Be my guest if you want to worship him fool!
Who is not respecting who, he or me? He came disturb my comment first with his rude face ( whistling.gif ) trying to proof he's better, do you understand what is happening here? kueyteowlou...

All I asked is to leave me alone but still he keep on flaming me. Childish Quinn, if you never disturb me first I won't be bothering you, you still don't get it, dont you?! hmm.gif
Quinn, you think you have chart to support your statement and some technical informations to show you have all the rights to be rude on people ha? hmm.gif Answer me! You got ball to disturb me so answer me and now you want to be hero! This will go on, I have all the time waiting. You start the flame war with me first remember that!
*
Buysell, you have been consistently wrong in your predictions while Quinn has been relatively accurate. The facts speak for themselves and given the facts, if anyone should leave, it is you. How can Quinn show you his rude face when this is a forum? Nobody can see what anyone else looks like. As I see, the only one who was rude is you, who keep criticizing Quinn for his analysis instead of asking politely for a elaboration of his charts.

Eventhough the gold price raise but it seem the bank buying price doesn't change much due to USD drop. doh.gif Anyway it's a good thing to see it goes up and let's hope it goes up more to 19xx by end of this year.

Highly unlikely....Gold will most likely be in the dumps until early next year. Technically Gold has been hurt and it will take a few months for confidence to be restored...

1655 oledi. frankly i'm not surprised. if you follow cnn & bloomberg, you'll notice - today economy good news, tomorrow bad news, next day good news again and the day after more bad news. if thats not manipulation i don't know what is

Its above 1660 now. The drop could just be a healthy correction on the way up or could be a start of a bigger correction, sometimes it overshoots support on the way down.
