 Laminated vs tempered glass

Temper will be stronger for the same thickness, and more expensive. If you want laminated you need much thicker glass to have similar strength of tempered.

Most railing glass i see use tempered.

Depend what kind of safety we talking. When lami glass break, it will cut easily, and strength are much lower compare to tempered. You notice shopping center will use tempered glass for most of the area like escalator, walk way etc.

If you want strength and safety, put tempered + tint, but will be very expensive.

Got Tempered glass chair meh? I know they have nice temper glass table, very strong.
