Dear Forum Readers,
ETIQA TAKAFUL BERHAD is an Islamic Insurance Product Open for ALL regardless of age, religion etc.. its a insurance product with saving element, return is NOT GURANTEED because in Islamic Business Model a person or company cannot gurantee a return because it becomes INTEREST or USURY so the Islamic Business Model works on a profit sharing basis whereby 80% of profit ( IF ANY ) goes to the policy holder and the balance 20% goes to the company.. Past record ranges from 4.8% - 8% ( NON GURANTEED) the insurance sheme works on a model of POOLED RISK. 1st Year of Paying Premiums YOU would have ZERO MONEY in your Investment ACC. Because u MUST DONATE 100% to the POOLED FUND 2nd Year 10% Investment ACC 90% DONATION to POOLED FUND 3rd Year 50% Inv Acc 50% POOLED ACC 4th Year ONWARDS 75% INV ACC 25% POOLED ACC. Added on May 6, 2008, 11:21 pmPLS TAKE NOTE I AM A AGENCY MANAGER WITH ETIQA TAKAFUL BERHAD and have been with the company for 7 YEARS. WE currently have an overzealous lot of NEW AGENTS who SELL our products without proper knowledge or information. Added on May 6, 2008, 11:29 pmYour Savings will BREAK EVEN approx at THE 12 Year ONWARDS, So its a usefull Saving TOOL BUT MOST IMPORTANT ITS A WONDERFUL PROTECTION TOOL. WE DO OFFER AMONG THE BEST PREMIUM RATES AROUND WITH STRONG BACKING FROM MAYBANK. Annualised Return for 30 Years is APPROX 3%. ( NON GURANTEED) QUOTE(annychua @ Dec 6 2010, 09:52 PM) y not u consider etiqa takaful saving? beside saving can giv u high protection... with just RM100/month, can giv u protection up to RM300K... average annual interest is 5.5%-8%... its like second EPF... good for u 2 spend a little time 2 understand it... any question, don hesitate 2 email annymoi_87@yahoo.com.my |

Standard Chartered Bank - 2.95%, 3%, 3.1% and 3.25% From the above, HSBC 1 month FD rate is the lowest at 2.75%. The highest over the counter FD rate for 12 months is by Affin Bank at 3.6%. Fixed / Time Deposit and Savings Account Promotions October 2011. Please call the nearest bank to reconfirm the rates (go to the bank website for bank contact number where you can also get the contact number of the branch nearest to you) before going to the bank to check if promotions are still valid. Hong Leong Bank Fixed Deposit Promotion until 30 November 2011 Until 16 October 2011 Hong Leong Bank Senior FD 12 months 3.8% (Interest credited monthly into savings account). Hong Leong Bank Junior FD 12 months 3.9% and 24-36 months 4.5% (Interest credited monthly). 17 October to 30 November 2011 Hong Leong Bank Senior FD 12 months 3.7% (Interest credited monthly into savings account). Hong Leong Bank Junior FD 12 months 3.7% and 24-36 months 4.2% (Interest credited monthly) OCBC Bank Fixed Deposit Promotion 5 October 2011 to 31 December 2011 OCBC Bank Time Deposit 3 months 3.5% Standard Chartered 5% Interest Rate for e$aver, Super Salary and Saadiq$aver savings accounts. This promotion of 5% flat interest rate until 31 December 2011 is applicable for new customers who open an eSaver, Super Salary and SaadiqSaver savings account in the month of October 2011 only and must maintain an average daily balance of RM3,000. Existing customers also enjoy this promotional rate but subject to additional terms and conditions. Other Promotions Some banks are also offering step up interest rates (with or without condition, e.g. some banks require that you deposit x amount in savings or current account), so you better average them out and I would think they still won't be able to beat Affin 12 months Fixed Deposit rate of 3.6%.
