any technician here , just wanna ask opinion , if i turn on the ps2 and play the dvd but nothing appear , what could be the problem ?

ehh need help from all sifu , my ps2 got problem.. (quite long ago posted .. no reply)
 ,can start but no image, got cd spinning sound, sent to ps2 shop, and was told the motherboard problem, fixing need 400.. is it true the motherboard cost around 400? |
