I have some problems with my PS2 and I hope you guys can help me out a little here..

Problem 1) Can't read DVD5 and 9 discs.. Is there a problem with the modchip or the lens?

Problem 2) Can't load the disc without resetting the console.. For example I can't use Codebreaker and Gameshark because they require the change of discs when the console is still powered on..

The console's model is 30006R.. Bought it 4 years ago.. I suspect the problem lies within the modchip...

1) try play dvd movies (yes/no) - Can only play dvd 9 movies for a few seconds before it started to stall
2) try play audio cd (yes/no) - Yes
3) try play dvd9 games (exp gt4) (yes/no) - I don't have any other dvd 9 or 5 games except gt4 and I can't load gt4..
4) try play cd games (tekken tag) (yes/no) - Yes, can play ps1 games

I don't know what modchip is installed in my ps2.. I'm not an expect in this field..
