hey guys, im planning to buy a hdmi to dvi cable for the ps3... a few questions

which is more clear? a 16inch lcd moniter or 32inch lcd tv? i know it should be moniter, but i keep hearing that the consoles are made for tv's so it will look better on them...
is there going to be a major graphical difference if i use a component video cable on a vga box instead of the dvi cable?
