hi all, wondering if my ps3 got prob or other causes...

i start playing MGS4, then my lcd suddenly show some flashes & snowy display, the display drops n appears...then i switch it off, wait a while n turn it on, it's normal back...2 times in 2 days...scare the hell out of me...wondering if any1 experience tis prob?

i suspect sth, i'm using a 5-way extension which connects - ps3, pc, audio system, modem & lcd ... will tis be the problem? wil too high voltage from 1 single current source cause ps3 to have 'flashes/dropping' screen?
will reduce the extension, but wonder if tis is the problem....
