so no one can tell me if they are having misalignment problems with their PS2 and their TVs? My display is off centred to the left by about 0.5cm

I googled and stumbled on a few threads that misalignment is a common problem with the PS2... any here has it?

i'm using an old ps2 fat with china-brand CRTV with 3rd party component cables. yes, i need to re-align/re-center most of my games by few % to the right. i think its a common problem.

how do u actually re-align? can't seem to find that option on my TV and only certain games support realignment, correct?
*
yes, have to do the re-alignment re-adjustment in-game via game options - its just off-center by a little bit. if the game has no such option, i just live with it - its not really a big deal for me smile.gif

I want to play it offline and yes my ps2 is modded, actually I want to buy ori game (rogue galaxy) which is NTSC but my ps2 is PAL. I also have ps3, do you think this game can be played on ps3?
thank. icon_rolleyes.gif

please note rogue galaxy NTSC/UC (English) is in dvd9 format. i think ur ps2 (PAL, modded) can play it

on the other hand, assuming ur ps3 is jpn/hk machine, it cannot play rogue galaxy NTSC/UC. it can only play

may i know the model of the modem u using now for streamyx?

actually, since your your pc and ps3 is in different rooms, u can also consider WiFi router. if i wish to go the wired method and have both the pc an ps3 online at the same time, get a router/switch is the best option. if i just want the ps3 to go online while u disconnect the pc, use the ps3 and setup your streamyx details into the settings page

^ refer to gameaxis forums, a few of them also have lense problems

http://forums.gameaxis.com/showthread.php?t=1468362

need to register, then send to Sony Service Center. repairs might take up to a week.

^ i think it is cos the Samsung SyncMaster 932bplus DVI slot don't support HDCP. PS3 needs a HDCP-compliant display device.

^yes, according to specs, AL2216W is HDCP compliant and should work. U saw the screen blink one time? try the reset and hold the button longer.

if use LCD TV, just get any HDMI cable will do. can buy those cheap <RM30.
