scan with what...?
u know the thing was design to avoid yur scan...
try manual one..
look one by one in yur Task Manager > Processes
find something fishy....kill it, then you can delete inside the pendrive...

also unhide hidden folder and protected OS file in Folder Option > View
maybe got others inside the pendrive...

Never experience it but got heard about it before,

Xmpeg.exe file is part of the Windows operating system. Xmpeg.exe most likely arrives with preinstalled software on your computer. The actual folder location is also listed on your hard drive at C:\windows\system32\Xmpeg.exe. Please always verify where it is located on your hard drive, as this will ensure it is not spyware or adware simply placed elsewhere on your computer, and using the same name Xmpeg.exe in an attempt to fool you.

A clean dll file is important for handling many windows tasks, and is required for your system to be stable. However, if the Xmpeg.exe file is false or infected, it will act like spyware or virus, and make your computer encounter a disastrous

False info.
XMpeg.exe is never from Microsoft & never exist in all versions of Windows installation I ever did from Win3.11 to Win7.

If an .exe file not from Microsoft puts itself into the System32 folder, it is extremely suspicious.

the window/system is infected by virus already....
so try safe mode to scan the virus....
if the virus is still there, remove the hard disk can scan it at another computer........
if all fails, then reformat the computer is the best option......
but remember to install the antivirus and update it before scanning the pendrive.......
