Dear Summoners in Malaysia, I have some questions

I am basically studying in UK and I play LoL harcorely on EU server. I will be graduating and come back to Malaya next May, so I begin to think about my future in LoL when I come back. WIth that in mind I start trying gheyrena LoL. not much a problem with ping cause internet here is imba, 50mbps 60ms from UK play in gheyrena server. Anyway here's my questions:

1. I realised when I play gheyrena (now lvl15) that the community in gheyrena is 2x-4x more toxic than the eu player(but that is another topic for another day). So now I am considering to play NA instead of gheyrena. WHat is ur guys ping when playing NA (mention steamyx/unify). Cause if I can play NA when I am in malaysia later with good ping, I better lvl my NA rather than my gheyrena.

2. If in case I continue play with gheyrena, how long usually the queu for rank game. cause I only play draft mode and there is no draft until u lvl 30.. I heard u can spend like 30 minute just to que for rank is that true

3. in short, should i lvl my NA or gheyrena for my return to malaysia. btw gheyrena no longer can help me transfer my eu to gheyrena, so my eu acc is pretty useless now

ya they dont really allow account transfers (or can't do rather)

NA ping is around 200 on average.

I play both, best of both worlds

Gayrena server basically tend to have more quitters than usual, but there are still some players not that toxic..

NA game queue is fast as hell.

yes, thats what i though so, maybe only the low level are toxic... anyway are u using streamyx or unify, what about ur queu in gayrena?

Generally I get a max of 5 mins when I queue for Ranked in gheyrena.

I still cant make up my mind... 200 ping is still ok tbh.

200 ping is not ok for me.
That 1 sec lag...makes a difference. Doesn't help that I like to play champs with positional nukes and skillshots.

200ms...high elo >1.8k u will start to have problems with it comes to team fights lol

200ping better community OR 20ping toxic community(atleast for low lvl, I dont know about rank community)... Hmmm decision-decision

Gayrena I skip log-in songs, doesn't bother me much. log-in songs interrupts my logins so I prefer not to hear them.

They should make horrible songs then ppl rush to log in lol

I guess I stick to gheyrena for now, I have a pretty high patience level. Gonna see how SEA ppl play rank.... I hope not 3 adc in 1 team.

I dont know man, maybe at 300 ELO.

1. I'm on the same boat as you however due to ping i decided to stay on gheyrena. Sea players are generally well known for their toxic attitude however since you have a high level of patience and tolerance it will not get to you so much. Like another forummer said, you do get to meet some nice players which do have very good gaming etiquette. It's just a matter of timing. If i paired up with a team of rudetards with limited vocab i just keep myself quiet and try to play my role. Winning or loosing doesnt really matter to me alot - of course i would like to win but if i lose i just accept my defeat and if somebody in my team whines about loosing and starts blaming people in the team i just ignore or cant be bothered. I have played on the Na server before and i do meet jerks and idiots from time to time so i can't say Na is full of well mannered players.

2. Waiting for the matchmaking doesnt really take too long. It all depends when are you playing it. Peak hours normally around afternoon lunch or after lunch or after dinner time base on the working crowd. If you're playing at odd hours so chances are you do have to wait quite a while. I wouldn't say 30 mins as the longest i waited when i tried playing withint 3-5 am was about 6-7 mins tops.

3. I think you can just come to gheyrena. You can add some of us here to play with. What your ID. I don't play rank games thought...yet. Havent reach to that level of skills yet

EDIT: oh I just realised that gheyrena LoL report system is not tribunal system like NA/EU. Its GM who judge is that true? I guess if GM dont want to lose player base, they dont have to temp/perm ban anyone....

Yes, the GMs make the calls in SEA.
Both the tribunal and GMs have it's own set of problems, been around NA enough to see hilarious cases come out of the Tribunal too.

Speaking of toxic, I met one of the most toxic players ever in queue yesterday. Instalocked Teemo mid, and attempted communication were met with "Deal with it ****ing whiners". After discussion with the other players, I did the team a favour by dodging. Just add them to the Ignore List, so I can track the toxic players and move on with life. Sometimes, I do meet great people playing too and usually add them into the friend list. That way, you enhance your own playing experience by subsequently queueing with them and reducing the odds of more toxic players.

31 tribunal reviews in LoL EU, 24 correct cases, 2 players I get to perm ban. It even got ELO rating for tribunal XD.do this in SEA and it will be ghost town I guess..

Reverted to the Friend List for games.

I tweeted to riot staff to ask then about sea server tribunal, they say release for KR and TW server 1st

Tbh, some SEA players are cocky. No offence, but some of them really are.
