I'm planning to sell my XBOX 360 since it has been sitting on my desk collecting dust for a long time. I wonder if there is checklist of things to do before selling mine. Currently I have a Live account with monthly auto renewal and I'm aware that I should call the support to cancel that. Does anyone have any experience selling theirs before? Do advise thanks!

theres nothing to check other than selling all that included with the console.

for your account,
1. disable autorenewal and it will reward you with 500 mspoints for calling SG xbox support.
2. if you purchase any downloadable games, you can transfer the DRM license via xbox.com or in your dashboard -> account

not sure why is it not for your case. its a complementary first time account activation
