Hye

asking something about painting the normal pc mobo... icon_question.gif

i got this old extra pc system pentium 4,so this might be my fun2 project lol rclxms.gif but i still want it to works well

so asking some opinion is that any problem if i spray my motherboard with normal spray pain, wish to use DPI ANCHOR QUICK DRYING HI-BUILD LACQUER SPRAY PAINT...ya i will cover all the connection port the proc hole, ram, pci, cable hole, the heatsink....etc.....

1)any problem if i spray all the ic or capacitor (may the heat when the pc working will melt the pain? or it ok)
2)will i got any electric circuit short? (i think no problem when it already dry right?)
3)can i do this to my GC,RAM,HDD,DVDROM,soundcard etc (i mean spray it all brows.gif )

this just my extra pc,modding painting with bright color, green orange he2...do for fun but still want it work, old casing/component look very bad looking

sorry if this topic already been discuss nod.gif
Thank 4 for all yr opinion thumbup.gif

pss:

mobo u wan to paint the whole thing?better dun paint the processor location, ram positions,gc pci slots n ide n sata conector
U can oso paint the chipset heatsink
Dvdrom better careful for spraying, cover the round thing below the dvdrom.
For hdd can paint both juz dun paint the sata slots
Gc kenot paint coz it will damage the whole card, but dun worry u can only paint the fan cooler

cover up all the ports with sticky tape and you should be fine smile.gif the motherboard already has it's own paint (see all the colours!) which is quite similar to yours

i think will cause the overheat issues as there have extra "coating" on mobo surface and having the difficulties for heat dissipate... worst come to worst may cause short circuit if the paint no 100% dry yet...
