Hi all,

Recently just DIY a water heater installation.
I am not convince enough with the inbuilt ELCB water heater.

So decided to install another external ELCB to this water heater.

So how does the connection look like ?

ELCB 10mA

2 input top ( L is live , R is neutral )  ?
2 output bottom ( L is live , R is neutral ) ?

Just go the info from here http://electricalinstallationwiringpicture...n-pictures.html
Can any electrician / engineer confirm this ?  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

Thank you.

incoming already installed ELCB. 30mA

But for this water heater, it is better to install ELCB 10mA before this heater.
*
single phase 2P ELCB @ incoming should have the rating of 0.1A/ 100mA
3 phase 4P ELCB @ incoming rating should be 0.3A/ 300mA

30mA normally use for water heater Not incoming doh.gif doh.gif
