Hi all, Recently just DIY a water heater installation. I am not convince enough with the inbuilt ELCB water heater. So decided to install another external ELCB to this water heater. So how does the connection look like ? ELCB 10mA 2 input top ( L is live , R is neutral ) ? 2 output bottom ( L is live , R is neutral ) ? Just go the info from here http://electricalinstallationwiringpicture...n-pictures.htmlCan any electrician / engineer confirm this ? Thank you. QUOTE(weikee @ Aug 23 2011, 09:25 PM) ELCB is place in the incoming. You put only for specific load? very wrong. The water heater breaker are really good. Well unless you buy some unknown brand of water heater than is difference. You can test the water heater breaker frequent to reduce the risk. incoming already installed ELCB. 30mA But for this water heater, it is better to install ELCB 10mA before this heater.

30mA normally use for water heater Not incoming [/quote] 30mA is not sensitive enough. If you guys dont have anything to contribute rather than comment, please leave this thread alone. Forum is place for people to contribute and not comment. Thank you.
