Boldly pushing the frontiers of what football clubs can sell, Manchester United and DHL have agreed to a lucrative first ever training kit sponsorship. Because sponsored shower towels just seemed a little too ridiculous.

At £10 million a year, that means Man United's training kits are now making more money than Arsenal's actual match kits, which Emirates locked in
at £5 million per year over eight years starting in 2006. To be fair, the Guardian does point out that Man United's training kit deal is bigger than all
but five main shirt sponsorship deals in the Premier League.

Next up: Tens of millions of pounds for sponsored team chef aprons.

and get sue by Aon for breaking their contract?

the deal is including the naming right of the stadium which is £100 million for 15 years, the kit sponsor deal is for 8 years

they can renegotiate for more cash after the deal end and have the money to expand the stadium.

the man city deal with Etihad is the biggest £350m for 10 years.

the deal signed one 2004 is massive at the time but now it look so small compare with other.

stadium naming right is include in that deal.

Arsenal always make money, if the stadium expansion plan go through, they will make every more money every years. a solid business.

or liverpool new stadium will have one side name the standard and other is the chartered

if i am rich and looking to buy a club, i will buy arsenal. last decade only spend 48 mil and still the top 4 club.

that deal sign in 2004, no one is getting 20 mil kit deal back them.

eye problem?

they are negotiating for extension of the deal after 2014, arsenal like long term deal for financial stability. the deal will likely be much much bigger, since Emirates themself admit their deal with arsenal now are worth more than the money they are paying.
