Arsenal fans must realise that Arsenal is not as world-wide supported like Man Utd, Liverpool, Real Madrid or Barcelona. So iit is quite difficult for Arsenal to attract better financial deals and better players.

the reason gunners did not offer nasri new contract because they cant give the salary expected by nasri because they got no money..so you wanna say that arsenal did not desperate for money. If they got money for sure wenger will tied up nasri contract.

they are negotiating for extension of the deal after 2014, arsenal like long term deal for financial stability. the deal will likely be much much bigger, since Emirates themself admit their deal with arsenal now are worth more than the money they are paying.
