Japanese food, my favourite! To be honest, I try most of the Japanese restaurants in KL and I think Yuzu and Hokkaido are among the best.

For Yuzu, you should really order the Wagyu beef with Enokitake. It's simply mouth-watering. I still remember the taste on my palate after months of taking it. The beef literally melted in my mouth. It's really soft and smooth.

Hokkaido is another booming restaurant in KL. Although people know its name because its ice-cream but frankly, I don't think the ice cream is that good. The dishes however are mind blowingly fantastic. I like the grilled salmon and cod fish. It's a must try in my opinion.

Kampachi is also another decent place. Although I think the main dishes are not that appealing according to my taste buds but I really like their soba. Their soba is 100% buckwheat, you literally can tell the difference with the soba you tried previously after one bite.

I do however want to recommend Ginza Cafe situated in Tokyo Street. You can't miss it because it's a bakery shop. I didn't really have high hope when I first visited it since their main attraction is baked goods but after trying their dishes, it totally blew me away. Everyone should ditch the bread and instead try one of their chicken teriyaki. It's the best I have eaten so far.
