Tried Kampachi at Pavilion only to be disappointed with selection and freshness, price ain't cheap as well.
My favourite joint is still Ishin (Old Klang Road). All time favourite Sashimi place. ![]() This Wagyu set is too greasy for me, few pieces cost RM200.00 plus ![]() Additional order as we only eat mostly Sashimi. Sea Urchin, Amaebi and Butter Fish(Highly recommended). ![]() Ark Shell, taste exactly like sea clam just bigger in size. ![]() Grilled Fish. ![]() Though not the first time, Ishin had never fail to deliver freshness. For drinks we down about 6-7 bls of Jap Beers, wife was treated with free sesame ice cream. Both of us had a wonderful dinner. Total damage about RM800 plus. Beers and Wagyu beef took up half the amount. This post has been edited by Xccess: Nov 25 2013, 05:21 PM |

Anyone tried Ippudo Japanese Restaurant at The Garden Midvalley? Seems to be Ramen place. Which is better comparing with Goku Raku Ramen at Midvalley?

Let's work on RM800.00 for 2 pax, where would you recommend a good authentic restaurant?

QUOTE(pltan @ Dec 21 2013, 01:34 PM) I liked Kampachi at Equatorial as well, but have limited experience with their other outlets. Tried Kampachi at Pavilion, left with a bad impression in terms of service and freshness. Heading to Tokyo in February for a 2 weeks trip, will eat my Yakitori there. If you like yakitori, Sumika in Subang is excellent. Noted on your recommendation though. |

QUOTE(pltan @ Dec 21 2013, 02:09 PM) Haha...what a coincidence. Lazy to plan itinerary, most likely linger in Tokyo for my entire trip, maybe spare a day trip to Nikko or Hakone. Anything PM me, don't wanna derail this topic. This post has been edited by Xccess: Dec 21 2013, 02:16 PM |
