Hi Guys Seeking for some help here. Planning to do some case mods on my Alienware Area 51-ALX. I am looking to cut out a portion of the side panel to showcase the interior (Rampage III Black edition ) Since the side panel consist plastic and aluminium parts, does anyone know where I can get it done with good workmanship ? Advise and help is greatly appreciated. If cutting side panel does not work, I guess airbrushing is the only way to go. Any recommended good airburshers around ? I had mine done once previously and the paintjob was done horribly

Getting Started

|
if u want to DIY....first u must survey what cutting tools u want to use ,go to Ace hardware or any hardware shop...find small and good angle grinder or cutter that can cut aluminium...Cost around RM60-120...good brand like bosch or Black&decker are a bit pricey ... idk any shop in malaysia that can provide service for case mod...but try to go to road signboard maker shop, they usually make and cut aluminium road signboard and hav right tools there...i oso buy my acrilic panel there.. for airbrush...try go to motorcycle or car paint shop ( they make airbrush for skuter ) ,idk the cost to paint+airbrush PC case there but i paint+airbrush my skuter for RM450....it depends on design.. gud luck... Thanks for the advice Lanc3, will check it out. Not sure if it's worth all the trouble to do it myself cuz I am afraid for a unrepairable mistake.
You had also mentioned sign board maker, might suggesting one if the shop is in KL ? Would you also so happen to know the approximate price ?
