ikan, i tried looking around jln pasar for something like those, can easily remove the wires without any cutting involved...but i couldnt find any. for some reason those things aint easy to find.
anyway, all i found in jln were cable tie base (i posted pix of it earlier). its simple to use. only downside is that once in...u cant remove the wires without cutting the cable ties. doesnt really matter though...coz it works just as well EDIT: heres the latest pic of muh cable management... this is the best i can do already in this case... coz the friggin case is has only ONE side panel that can be opened. the other side is riveted in and is a one piece metal with the top and bottom. ![]() and here is the rest of the pic of MY UV MOD This post has been edited by mADmAN: Feb 12 2006, 02:03 PM |

can just use staples and the screwdriver... google for cable sleeving guides. theyll have pix of how to use the staples. some use pins.
molex heads can be bought from from forumer uglyvamp (not vampzone..thats his webbie). as for the metal heads in them molex... can also be bought at electrical shops in ss2 or jln pasar. i bought the male molex metal connecter heads in ss2 for 40cents per piece. and what do u mean cutting? i dun wanna cut my PSU wires man...i kinda like them being long |

actually ur cable management is quite good...everything is well hidden. and those that arent are properly managed. and more importantly, everything is out of the way... kudos!

survivor...i think u should sleeve up them PSU cables man....either that or hide them
ur case internals is almost exactly as my HEC. only thing is, i can only open one side panel (not sure about urs). use the bars to route your cable to ur cdrom bay heres mine ![]() it would have been ALOT cleaner if i didnt have all those switches and CCFLs and fans This post has been edited by mADmAN: Feb 25 2006, 02:29 PM |

if u wanna get that so called 'classic' look like snipers casing susah wor...coz his case isnt some chrome sticker on the mobo tray..... the removable mobo tray is actually a mirror finished chrome. and the other interior is black.
his case is the OEM of the AKASA ECLIPSE-62. theyre both EXACTLY alike.... only difference is that snipers case doesnt have the aksa logo in front. n i wan this case so badly!!! cant find it in malaysia man..sheesh @ikan ur case is clean...very clean... but ur on bare minimum hardware man...dun have much inside This post has been edited by mADmAN: Feb 26 2006, 03:56 PM |

@Cloudx
take pix of ur whole case with everything (except side panel) in tact. that way its easier to see how to help u out... and i see that ur HDD bay goes all the way to the case floor... u can actually use it to hide ur cables by cable tying them on the other side of the bay to hide the xs wires nicely... my old beige chapalang case's doesnt have a hdd bay that goes all the way down...even harder to manage but i used the empty cdrom slots anyway....heres pix of my new case with cable management done ![]() ![]() ![]() the back part of the case... usually on most ofther cases ull see all the wires snaking all over the place.. but thankfully mine aint that bad ![]() more detailed pix of the case can be seen HERE mADmAN This post has been edited by mADmAN: Jan 22 2007, 10:38 AM |

i think it would be better to change ur heatsink fan to blow towards the back.
placing it to blow upwards like that u wont have much room for the hot air to blow out. |

dont u think the PSU would be blocking the air flow from the HSF?
unless ur PSU has 12cm fan at the bottom then ok la. let the PSU suck in the hot air from the HSF. but i think CcK91's PSU is the type with the 8cm fan at the back. 12cm fan PSUs usually wont have the grills on the inside of the case. plus there isnt much room between the HSF and PSU in his case. purple CCFL will emit a purple color light.
UV CCFL will emit UV light which just so happens to look like purple. thats it. if u wanna get really technical itll come down to the wavelength or spectrum or whatever it is of the light etc etc.... no need to worry about it... coz our sun emits UV rays which we dont even know the color right? at least i dont all u need to know is that when u want UV reactive stuff to glow... ull need UV CCFL... so when u go buy ur CCFL.. look for "UV" as the 'color' on the label. buying purple or any other color wont do anything except make ur case have colorful lights. hence the stuff is called UV REACTIVE. if u use ATA133 IDE cables then they usually fold easily as theyre stiffer than the ATA100 cables. i use ATA133 cables and just secure them using double sided tape. not sure how ur gonna do it with ATA100 cables though.
as for coloring... no idea... u could try to find a dye for the cable's jackets.. although i doubt its gonna be easy to find. and im not sure if itll affect the cables inside. if i were u...id just fold the rounded cables. yes it can be done as i did it with my old HEC case (theres 1 or 2 pix earlier in this thread). i find it easier too. its more like routing actually. but i wasnt using rounded UV cables. i was using the CM black rounded cable which i guess is softer than the UV versions due to the outer layers. |
