Most of PM funds is not doing well vs benchmark for the last 3 years... I think they have too much on their hands now and cannot concentrate. Only decent ones are PBFI, even the old darling Smallcap is hardly beating the benchmark.

And not to mention their ranking in most charts are going lower and lower...

Time to move on....? hmm.gif

hey guys
regarding the public mutual online,
now i used to buy my unit trust online by myself.

1. Do my agent still get his commission on my purchase if it was done online?
2. i was planning to be a unit trust seller myself so the commisssion will goes back to me instead of the agent, what is the way to be one?

Now all these can be done through online,
I'm wondering what's the purpose of those agents anymore?

1. YES
2. Apply to be UT agent, must meet yearly quota or you are out. tongue.gif
3. To service the uncle and aunties... wink.gif

Hi,

I am staying in overseas so, she just emailed me. Anyway, if i loss, why did she told me that i get 3.7 growth@666  profit as at 12/10/2011?

Most probably talking about 2 different fund, I don't think a bond fund can have 20% capital loss? Unless the 3.7% is the dividend payment for an equity fund?

Just check how many units you have (including reinvested dividend) and times with the current NAV, you should have a good idea of your fund profit/loss. wink.gif

Some fund do have exit charges, most of them if you sell within 6 months or 1 year. There is one fund in particular which has a perpetual exit charge of 1% - AmDynamic Bond. laugh.gif
