but nobody can really know how equity will move if ge is held right ? if PR win might go out since "more-transparency" ?

but then again the whole KLSE market is bullshit and full of sharks and manipulation smile.gif , then again if it makes me money why should i care smile.gif

EPF
PNB
LTTE (the angkatan tentera fund)

QUOTE(Violet Ling @ Mar 1 2012, 03:15 PM)
Advice Needed - I am thinking to switch out all equities to bond fund today after seeing several days of uptrend. And with KLCI hitting quite high..almost 1576 points today, I have a feeling it might go down tomorrow onwards to immediate support level of 1560 points. What you guys think??

Switch to bond funds today?
Or just let it be there(in equities)??

UT is for long-term

Yes I understand you...
But if know the trend going downwards soon(imo), why don't we protect our investment $$?? And only buy back those funds cheaply(after going down)?  smile.gif
*
What if u were wrong?

I suggest to have an asset allocation to yout taste (e.g. if u dun wan too much risk, 60% bond 40% equity would be nice IMHO), and only rebalance time to time

Dun guess/time the market sweat.gif

how bout going towards GE?

what i heard, going towards price up.

after GE, price goes down.

also, i read an article written by OSK analyst; he said that buy before GE, and sell 1 month later after GE.
*
b4 GE go up - build up feel-good among rakyat
announce GE - down
after GE - if BN majority increases - UP
after GE - if BN majority reduces/maintain - down
after GE - if BN falls - DOWNNNNNNNN

thought would go up since more transparency.. unless the market really manipulated market then will die la

but there'd be plenty of uncertainty in the initial stage

GLCs would be the ones crashing down, esp those UMNO-linked ones rolleyes.gif

worry abt the FDI will reduce during GE. if opp win 2/3..... sure market will crash for temp.

it will take some time to get the transparency. if so, its better enter during the market crash.

As long EPF hidup..... KLCI will hidup.............

HIDUP EPF....HIDUP MALAYSIA.

in that case, say NO to EPF giving sub prime loans mad.gif vmad.gif

Islamic fund is only investing in Shahriah compliant investment vehicles. Generally more stable and less volatile.
