QUOTE(kparam77 @ Mar 3 2012, 01:28 PM) bonf funds is for annualy steady/income with min risk. so, generaly no good/bad time for it. islamic funds open for all. But still have some risk right? So some people still go for FD? FD 3% only. Bonds usually give 7% profit. This post has been edited by JeffreyYap: Mar 3 2012, 01:34 PM

PBIBF= Pb Islamic bond fund. PB ISLAMIC BOND FUND : Total Returns from 05-Mar-07 To 02-Mar-12=40.72%
12M_GIA for Islamic Bond Funds : Total Returns from 05-Mar-07 To 02-Mar-12=17.38%
one year roughly 10%, better than strategy bond fund. Although i know past performance doesn't mean future performance will good. So what you guys think about this fund vs Pb strategy bond fund?

QUOTE(cheahcw2003 @ Mar 5 2012, 12:58 AM) of course price is shown, so that the existing investors know how much their investment worth. Anyway, if for you, what fund you THINK is better than Strategy bond fund? Perhaps those islamic bond funds?

QUOTE(cracksys @ Mar 5 2012, 01:16 PM) sorry to chip in, i'd like to learn more about fund investment. so what is the next step? i know the minimum investment of RM1k, but how is the process. do i need to go to branch or find an agent? For me, i went to Public bank, and they have agents for Public Mutual, I not sure if all branches have agent or not, but i know Taman Mayang's Public Bank got. And i bought another fund from my friend, he is an agent as well. or you can pm kparam77, i think he is an agent too.

QUOTE(kparam77 @ Apr 2 2012, 11:16 PM) it due to the price re-adjusted after the disribution. gross 0.045 cents. if the drop is 0.0392, actualy the price is up because KLCI closed higher today. 100% PRSF invest in local market. if the price drop more than 0.045, its concider the price is drop due to KLCI down. Oh? So mean it's distributed to who invested it? So if tomorrow if i reinvest RM1k, the price is 0.063xx(current price after -0.0392) right. And by the way, how you know(when and how) it is distributed? This post has been edited by JeffreyYap: Apr 2 2012, 11:24 PM

QUOTE(David83 @ Apr 3 2012, 08:05 PM) Me too. At the time I switched out, mine is still on loss for PCSF at around -26%. Dammit, regret. If i switch to another equity fund, service charge will be applied right? If there is service charge, i think i will switch to public bond fund.

QUOTE(David83 @ Apr 3 2012, 08:32 PM) Switching fee of RM 25 or RM 50 depending on the condition. Refer to page 1 for switching details. Switching from loaded units to any fund won't be incurring another round of service charge. Please suggest me a good local fund like PRSF? . I seek for long term, 5- 8years. Added on April 4, 2012, 10:36 amFunds currently on mind, 1) Public Dividend Select Fund 2) Public Growth Fund 3) Public Saving Fund. This post has been edited by JeffreyYap: Apr 4 2012, 10:36 AM
