I have done the foaming today at noon. First I have to say thanks to Kevin for taking the trouble to guide me to the UNDERGROUND...
Now get to the review. Overall the sound going through yellow line, pot holes, un-even roads surface has reduced. The best part On the way back, heavy rain and tested it..no complain from me. The only worry Good seller and Nice seller. Worth the value of money..... Kevin: I see some milk overflow at the bottom of the car. Normal knife will be able to get rid of it? |

QUOTE(IceCube @ Sep 20 2011, 07:48 PM) Thanks bro. You are the saga from penang? Yes, you are correct. penang kia. I will do it myself. how come so fast? i already have some upgrades on the handling prior to this. With the foam added, yes, can felt it instantly. So fast already feel the different ar? slight overflowing is normal, and a small knife would do the job of cutting it off. If you are not sure, you can drop by and i can do for you and paint it back FOC. Thanks..and hope to see you again on other deals. |

IceCube,
My final review on the product after 4 days. I would say it's a good product, value for money. With a nice seller, makes it better. Although now pocket got holes already.....dun know can foam or not also wallet. Driving on the NS highway, it's more of a pleasure now. Noise reduced overall but engine sound is still there..LoL. Uneven or wavy surface, the car now goes along with it so smoothly without any bumpy effect. If drivers noticed from Ipoh to Penang, there is a stretch after the tunnel, down hill, its not yellow line now..red one which is thicker, the sound is reduced as we go over it compare to before foam. The car is much more composed now. Cornering is still the best effect felt. This doesn't mean we are like super cars. Drive safe is still no 1. No complains. just thump's up. Cheers...... |

QUOTE(ellist @ Oct 10 2011, 12:10 PM) Yo Bro, I am wayne, the white myvi did the chassis foam + A-pillar on 3/10 Sun. Here is my review: Road noise is very much got to do with the door sound proof.1) Not immediately feel after foamed, but after 2 days, magic happened! The first thing i noticed was my steering became tighter(is it called "better handling" ? i m a noob in car). 2) Solidness of the chassis increased, as I passed through speedbumps or road holes, you can hear a very solid and bassy "thum" sound...And to my surprise, the interior noise reduced alot! Perhaps the reason is chassis has been strengthened? 3) Wind and Road noise dampening can't really feel, it is as loud as usual. Anyway, if you are looking for chassis strengthening, this product really works! Bro, I saw some foams are still attached under the chassis hole, mind to help me trim it? hehe |
