Noob advice needed.
My cardinal tetras aren't eating the micro flakes i bought for them..
1) they do not eat the flakes floating on the water. 2) food that sinks down, they take a mouthful then spits it out.. seems that they prefer the algae growing on the tank.
Should i get new food or are they just too shy to eat from d surface?

How do your tetras eat? Mine are too shy to go up to the surface.. they just wait for the food particles to drop down.. and quite alot just float down to the gravel
Sigh.

QUOTE(genielee_83 @ Sep 7 2011, 07:48 PM) How fast can a new tank cycle with 40% old water and new filter? How to make it faster so i can put my fish inside while giving my 2ft rescaping? Need to add conditioner to speed up? If it's a new filter, i think you need at least 2 weeks for the bacteria to grow in the filter media..
