Yupe..u can boil them or rendam them in water for a while to soften them..if no it's hard for shrimp to eat smile.gif

Added on October 6, 2011, 12:38 amU can add ketapang leaf too..to remove yellow color..rendam them a while with water..put the leaf in ur tank and after a while u will see shrimp start to chew on the thin bacteria film develop on leaf surface

Guyz i have pink and red rotala, and they need iron to display their real color.
The current liquid fert brand from taiwan i using like no effect on them. Besides, their color getting lighter and lighter day by day. Any fert can recommend and low budget biggrin.gif

yupe... KH/GH
*
So PH will affect KH/GH right? or vice versa?
I keeping RCS , so PH or KH/GH more important for them?My shrimp die from 16 to 8. These 8 look like stable but they dont molt in 2nd stage to breed, so which 1(PH or GH/KH) i should concern?
Sorry for the noob question. I dont have ph or kh/gh indicator but plan to get them in the future.

Check the temperature first. Must maintain at around 27 for RCS to breed. Give them a few months also. The Shrimps need to adapt to new tank.

they with me around 4months jor...Very sad to see their population decrease day by day cry.gif .

Golden tetra haha....

QUOTE(radver @ Oct 16 2011, 09:44 PM)
Err... Enough hiding place or not? Must be like jungle so they got lots of place to hide.

hmm.gif Cause I think the reason the population dwelling is because of the fish. They are taking them as snacks, especially during their moulding where they are the most vulnerable. Last time I had a dozen harlequines with 30 RCS, they finished them off in a months time. Only 2 survivors, and that was because they were sucked into the filter. If your serious about breeding them, you need to get rid of the fishes, including the SAEs.
*
Haha...i dont think i'm able to get them out because i got no place to place them T_T. And i hate yamato so much always chase out the RCS for the food.
I will try to look for a place to house all my fish if possible. Besides, is there any chances to get high grade of RCS from low grade of RCS?
