This is the new thread for those who wish to discuss about 6 to 18 inches and above action figures. Some of you might be confused why 12 inches arent excluded in the title. Thats because some companies who makes 6" figures also makes 12" like mcfarlane and neca. But there is a big difference between the Mcf ones and the Hot toys ones. Hot toys makes figures for modellers. People who buy and collect 6th scale figures where you can dress them and pose them in different ways are called as 6th scale modellers. Try comparing the relation between the two with normal action figs with blythe dolls or even barbies perhaps. No offense to 6th scalers but thats exactly how things are. Not saying that you guys collect dolls or anything but you guys are from a different niche and really, you guys deserve a separate thread about your hobby. Heres the link btw http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1932214

So, what kind of figures do we discuss here? You know the kind. Limited articulation, made with hard plastic, sold in supermarkets and affordable. Companies That make em are Toybiz, DC direct, Mcfarlane, Neca, Mezco and many others. You can find reviews and resources about them here http://www.oafe.net/new.php or here http://www.mwctoys.com/pastreviews.htm

Have fun collecting!

Here are some samples of the action figures we discuss here

6th?... should it not be 1/6th.. anyways

Suggestion: How about we go by manufacturers.... Where I'll remove NECA from the other thread?

A clear distinction would be clothing/parts being modular on a base body while almost all parts are moulded-in, on this thread.

I would have bought this, but the lack of articulation turned me off.

Manage to snag both Cap and Fury. But is there even a Thor fig of their size? Would really love to have one even if the cape would really get in the way
