Just bought my N55sf 2 days ago. I'm absolutly loving the speaker and the cola can! So far everything looks good on this laptop. I have not do any game test but already do furmark and afterburn test. I guess this is ok?




The only disadvantages is the keyboard. The keys seems to be all jammed together. Still not used to the keyboard yet.

I'm planing to do a clean install soon, anyone got a list of driver of which to install and which one first? =)

Yes,ur performance graph is okay.The drivers can be found in the driver disc.Perhaps u should try to install the latest Nvidia driver and u might need to mod the inf file to do that.

Added on August 28, 2011, 1:19 pmjus wondering if you guy experiencing that there is some sound on the right side palm area(like the dvd drive) eventhough there is no disk inside the drive? It happens to me sometimes, but it rare. I'm thinking it is the drive sound. but its weird.

Yea,sometimes when i open applications i can hear sound from dvd rom.The sound is like when u insert disc and starting to read..but the question is..there's no disc

The kind of ''click'' sound right? I hear whenever I open any application or boot-up the comp. Is it the dvd drive or the hard drive?

on my N53SN i hear that too, it's the DVD drive....
if im not wrong, it's optimus kicking in to check whether it need to use the Nvdia.....just an assumption

opps.. I forgot how it sounds like. but I heard noise coming from there. I checked the screenshot of the dismantled photo of the laptop posted around page 80+. I saw only disc drive there. Not sure what is the sound coming from doh.. from the sound of it, it seems like the disc drive..
