Is anyone familiar with Ting skin specialist procedures and prices? (Dr. Ting Hoon Chin)

I have a pilar cyst at the back of my head, it's getting quite annoying (personally, no pain though) and i'm thinking of getting it removed. Does Dr Ting remove cysts? Or has anyone had a cyst removed before? how are the charges? How long is the procedure?

It would be helpful to get some info before i proceed, cuz i have 2 kids, and time is an issue, i dont think i would want to take them with me for consultation, cuz i have read that people wait for hours, and kids .. uknow, it's a hassle. So i need to arrange things and go by myself.

Thank you biggrin.gif

consultation should range around rm 50 if no medication is given.

but since you said you have time issues, then best to visit some other dr.

u can only call in to make an appointment within the same day and the slots are usually all taken within half an hour when they open.

even with an appointment made, there are times u might even wait up to 2 hours to see him.

Oic. Thats a tough one, cuz i'm not familiar with Skin specialists. My 2nd choice would have been Skin club, never been there, but i have read good reviews on them. (but that was about fillers and botox.) i'm not sure if they're good with Minor surgeries/ Cyst removals.

When i was pregnant for the 1st time i have really bad rashes on me, seen a few normal docs, no one could cure me. Until i went to see Dr Ruben at Pantai cheras. But the wait there was very long too! So i dont think i will see him either.

Anyone know any skin docs that are good but also not so time consuming??

Thanks smile.gif

edit** Called skin club and they said they dont do Cysts... sighs.

I don't think you would wanna visit any dermatologist that isn't time consuming eh, no queue means there must be something wrong with the doc as there is no patients waiting smile.gif

i went to 2 other dermatologists before i visited dr ting.

big mistake..

^ Hi, no i haven't but i have read up on her also. Sounds like a good doc. Im staying in Ampang/ cheras area, so it's kinda far for me to go.
But if in the end i have no options, i will go and try her.

Thanks for the suggestion smile.gif

Dr Christina is not skin specialist but normal doctor with interest in skin but not qualified skin specialist
