There are organic eggs too but more expensive than kampung eggs. Foreign labourer have to buy cheap eggs and makan. Cham cham
One thing about organic food, do make sure the product/vegetable packaging have certified organic logo, such as SOM, NASAA etc. Do google to learn more about the certified logo printed on the label (yes, there are fake organic as well, certified by unknown board, hint: MLM product)As for livestock, such as chicken, until now, there is NO ORGANIC CHICKEN in Malaysia. Thus, there is no organic egg produce in Malaysia.
I've heard many people claim of organic chicken, those are actually free range chicken but cannot classified as organic. (unless you're feeding the chicken with certified organic feed)
I contacted an 'organic' chicken seller before. Asked him what type of food given to the chicken. He said feeding with feed bought from nearby commercial farm
Free range chicken is not organic chicken.
