is your gps on, 3g on?
the touch keys supposed to be white, if you have pink maybe signs of screen bleeding, better go and make appointment with SME

You can check through dialler *#0*# for screen test. From dark/black/green background, you can see your left side screen colour a bit yellowish

If your phone less than 7 days then you can ask for NEW replacement set. If more than 7 days you can ask them to change for a new lcd screen only :-)

Yours got only slight yellowish. I heard ppl said it can be reduced/eliminated when you upgrade your firmware to android 2.3.4 but i don't know whether it's true or not.

And no, no risk at all if you change your lcd at service centre. If still got problem then you ask them to change it again until the problem solved :-)

Just go and ask for a replacement if you are so unhappy over it.
I must say mine is close to perfect; no yellowish tint, dead pixels or those slight grey spots
BTW where is your phone manufacture ? Look for it under the battery. Mine is Made in Korea. If stated just Made by Samsung - than don't know where is the source . Some has  reported Made in China

Mine is the first releases in May-  UK set ( AP set ) - I believe is all Made in Korea
