My S2 sometimes the internet connection seems not to be responding. Mostly in my office I can see the H of 3G symbol however I'm unable to open any webpage. I need to deactivate data and activated it again in order to browse the web again.

Is it a firmware issue? someone who encounter this before can share a tip to fix this

You can try disable fast dornancy by dialling *#9900# and see whether it improve your data connection

doing this will effect anything? I mean other than improving data connection?

No, i don't think so. You can always enable it back by dialling the same *#9900# in any case.
But for me at my area it change nothing whether the fast dormancy is disable or enable. You can get more info about this at xda-dev

Just disabled fast dormancy, so far no effect on speedtest getting 1058kbps on first test and 1030kbps on second test
using Digi Smartplan by the way smile.gif

will leave it disable for the next 2 days and see if the same problem happen

some say in Xda-Dev that this will also improve battery life, not sure how true this is smile.gif

Nearly 2 weeks now since I bought my SGS2, I have not received any sms from Samsung yet. Bought it from Digi too..
