Is it possible to run it without flashing custom rom? Will it stack with my touchwiz and drain more battery?

you should be asking need root or not la all launchers will run with stock rom. it wont stack unless your hand itchy and open touchwiz also, just set go launcher or any other launcher as default, then restart

use better battery stats check for wakelocks if the drain is too much

guys, need some help here, though of flashing KH3 stock firmware from samfirmware.com after select 3 of the files and press start, inside the log file it just stated setup connection... no progress bar from my phone. can i unplug it and flash again?

I have better battery stats, just that dunno how to check...

Edit: I think its not wakelocks. My process consumes more battery.

Open the app, then change process drop down menu to wakelocks.. Then check abnormal stuff..

Only have 1 wakelock which consume 14% battery. Others is like 0.1%
Process like Dolphin browser and Android sys consumes a lot more battery..

when ur screen off but your phone is still running and ur battery info show awake more than screen on, that is because of wakelocks, apps use wakelocks to prevent phone from going deep sleep. eg. i once wake up left 15% battery, then check see see got a facebook.katana.chat something process give wakelock for 7 hours. so lesson is, i ever touch facebook app's chat ever since =.=

I on MIUI and try to see how long my battery can last today, my setting is 3g on, auto sync on,minimum brightness, i go to work on 7.00am, check my facebook, email, browser. wifi hotspot with my laptop until now have 18% left.

Anybody on stock using KH series? Is it any better or same or worse compare to KG3?? TQIA!

hmmm...in the samfirmware stated need to tick on repartition when you have 3 files, i wonder is it reli need to?

if u flash PDA, PHONE and CSC in 3 different file then u nid to tick repartition...otherwise if the PHONE, CSC and PDA are packed in 1 file no need to tick repartition

ya, i flash pda, phone and csc and tick on re-partition, the odin stop at setup connection and hang at there, no progress bar from the phone either.
wonder want steps did i miss???

you should never tick re-partition, just use default setting on odin.
