I've done that but it still no go. Best is to flash older version 3.5 or 3.6. Wait till Raff release an update version.

eh is it normal when the Messaging process doesnt fully close after pressing the back button?

Actually it's not rom related.it's samsung sms app its like that.if used go sms, never encounter issue.same goes with stock browser...

anyone using CyanogenMod 7 ? if yes, is it good?

solved my "usb connection not detected" problem. apparently, my brother's new SE x10i is interfering with my sgs2's driver. i dont know why, but uninstalling SE driver solved my problem.

CM7 is AOSP, sourced from android tree by google. which means it's not optimised for SGS2. at least not yet. not advisable now unless you anticipate problems and bugs.

This is my take: CM7 = MIUI > Sensation

Honestly it is great. Loving it. Yes it is nightly and cm7 is auto released every day. However it is good and pretty amazing.

Bugs? Not many. Normally same with the rest of the custom roms. If you see it, CM7 and MIUI is not the same with any other custom roms. They are build for less samsung-ness.

I don't know why many people having issue with both but happened to me so seldom.

i prefer custom rom that is compatible with sgs2 and have less bug and problems..so far using batista 3.5 really satisfied my sgs2 usage..no reboot, no hang, no FC...all function working..only my 1 cent ..

Just gotten 2 today. Havent even open mine yet. Need to backup my stuff on Desire and port over to SGS2.

Actually they are compatible with sg2. For me, they work well as I really spend some time removing all the samsung-ware. Quite happy with CM7 and MIUI. When I am bored, get back to Sensation rom.

Once you are on CM7, you will get addicted , similar to drugs. You will be non-stopping flashing . if you don't, you will suffer the withdrawal symtoms and it will kill you !!!. So be warned before you attempt.

my biggest turn off is the camera function that is greatly reduced on cm7. i dont know whether they fixed it already or not. that's why i flashed back to villain
