Want to ask all hedgie experts here smile.gif

I recently got myself a hedgie. First time pet owner here so... I just got a camera so I can observe it anytime - so my first question is...

I found it pacing around in its cage like back and forth repeatedly... is this normal ? O_o lol.. it's quite a big cage like for a small dog..like double storey, has a house so he can hide and all..has food and water and all.

When I go near it, it stops pacing. But when I leave it alone.. it paces back and forth.. lol.

(its only a 10 sec clip but basically loop the video and that's what it does all night lol)

Is that normal ? tongue.gif

Woke up to a nasty shock this weekend.. sad.gif my poor hedgie peeing blood... it was like some murder crime scene. Took to the vet, says its UTI, and gave some antibiotics and vitamins.

want to ask, how you guys feed meds to your hedgie ? lace it on their treat? the only thing i can do is drop it near the tip of their nose and they lick it clean....

my poor hedgie now exhausted and just lying there like sedated after giving the meds. sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif
