QUOTE(WhyNotYouTeachMe @ Dec 20 2013, 10:50 PM) this shit is so hard to comment on.. yep i agree with u since it's not even for human, why should we even care. but i guess for me, i wouldn't be touching the kibbles if they contain pork coz if i touch then need to samak pulak afterwards. too much hassle. anyway tomoro i'll dig further on this. oh i don't actually having trouble switching food, coz fluffy is a greedy carefree boy. he just gobble anything that's edible |

QUOTE(Matthewksexy @ Jan 29 2014, 09:04 AM) hi, u want to check with u all, whether ur hedgehog do wat my hedgehog do or not... that, my friend, is called self-annointing don't worry it's perfectly normal for hedgehog to do that. i'm quite jeles with u, coz i never witness that firsthand. my hedgie too shy to show me when i let him run around my garden, he will bite some grass or brick, then he will vomit out some white foam/ saliva and apply it on his back and ear. almost all the time he did tat. izzit some thing normal or i need to get him to the vet? |

QUOTE(86Aries @ Feb 6 2014, 05:18 PM) my hedgie recently starts dropping fur. IFAIC, that's pretty normal. my hedgie started shedding fur since the first 2 weeks i got her. but not much tho, occasionally i spotted 5-10 strands everytime i cleaned her sangkar (i clean 3 times a week). not sure if it had any to do with her diet but there is no bald spot, he's still fluffy and active. is it normal? could be caused by the food (RC32)? definitely not caused by dry skin, coz i really jaga her skin wor. i bathe her every 2 days, sapu losyun & beby oil sumore fyi i fed her RC36 (1++ month) -> smart heart (current) This post has been edited by mitahi: Feb 7 2014, 09:19 AM |

QUOTE(lambiskut @ Feb 11 2014, 02:11 AM) Smart heart no good. Fed my cats for few years and my older cats(5+ yrs) all started having health problem. Vet also say bad. Changed to Science Plan/Iam(current) since 2012, still have health problem but not getting any worse. Vet say can't do anything, damage already done i hear you lambiskut, i onli fed SH to fluffy for 3 days and then change back to RC36. my cat oso dun laik SH, so i thot this product surely won't do any good to them.I'm looking to get a hedgie soon but I'm moving to a studio, my parents don't allow me to take my cat Will it be very noisy at night? Plan to get wheel. Hedgie being noisy? no la, they are usually very quiet. you will rarely hear them making noise, unless if you buy cheap wheel that creaks when hedgie is running on it, which i dont think you would. |

QUOTE(lambiskut @ Feb 11 2014, 11:46 AM) Good that you changed fast, otherwise permenant damage aih... i'd suggest you buy from Hedgehog World Malaysia FB group if you want a good sturdy wheel. their bedding set with wheel costs rm125 (including postage, goods posted from penang) and you'll get something like this:I see some vids and people commented that when they run in the wheel seems will be noisy. I'lm looking to get DIY wheel. ![]() they sell these in many other color opsyuns if you wan variations |

QUOTE(Azurika @ Feb 12 2014, 11:29 AM) Wont that bedding be hard to wash since hedgehog Pee and Poo as they like ? Has anybody bought that wheel b4 and tried ? I saw this wheel earlier, but its like RM75 if i recall for it. actually it's not that hard at all then after i got the wheel (the wheel is sturdy and silent), i noticed she only pee poo on the wheel when using it. and the excrement automatically falls down into the litter box under it when she starts running. so the bedding always stays clean, i only wash it like once every 2 weeks. the only thing i found myself cleaning every 2 days is the wheel (very easy to dismantle and install back) and litter box... oh, and my hedgie's feet. the poo always stuck under her nails rm75 if u buy just the wheel. rm125 and you'll get a full set, add another rm10 and you'll get the igloo type of house. QUOTE(adriangoh @ Feb 11 2014, 08:04 PM) Look nice..but for those bedding..I got some sort of a pouch which similiar to urs but my hedgie like to dig to ground and buried himself underneath the pouch instead going into it..how often u need to wash those? And what kind of bedding u provide? I'm using those like scratch wood( I dunno what it called lolz) i only use pouch for travel, my hedgie has her own igloo house. i use the cloth as bedding, usually wash it once every 2 weeks, and she oso sometimes dig2 under the cloth and ended up using it as her blanket/comforter if u read the earlier posts they said wood bedding is not good for hedgie coz of their nature likes to scratch and dig, the wood dust might suffocate their tiny lungs. you might wanna change it This post has been edited by mitahi: Feb 12 2014, 12:27 PM |
