they tend to do that when they're self-annointing. mine always got bubble2 oso, sometimes i see different color bubbles

Guys i need some help clarifying sth

earlier i went to Pet Lovers Centre in Ikano to look for some food for my hedgie. I looked for blackwood but the staff said they no moar supply. So i reluctantly picked RC 36. Then suddenly the staff told me rc36 contains babi oink oink. Izzat true?

I'm muslim, so if possible duwan la deal with oink oink ni. can somebody clarify this for me plss??

yep i agree with u since it's not even for human, why should we even care. but i guess for me, i wouldn't be touching the kibbles if they contain pork coz if i touch then need to samak pulak afterwards. too much hassle. anyway tomoro i'll dig further on this. oh i don't actually having trouble switching food, coz fluffy is a greedy carefree boy. he just gobble anything that's edible

dunno if it's good or bad since i didn't find anything factual, but ppl said that it's bad. This says hogs kenot eat anything acidic while this says lime will kill the hog!?

anyways i think better to put masam foods away from ur hog.

that, my friend, is called self-annointing don't worry it's perfectly normal for hedgehog to do that. i'm quite jeles with u, coz i never witness that firsthand. my hedgie too shy to show me

IFAIC, that's pretty normal. my hedgie started shedding fur since the first 2 weeks i got her. but not much tho, occasionally i spotted 5-10 strands everytime i cleaned her sangkar (i clean 3 times a week). not sure if it had any to do with her diet

definitely not caused by dry skin, coz i really jaga her skin wor. i bathe her every 2 days, sapu losyun & beby oil sumore

fyi i fed her RC36 (1++ month) -> smart heart (current)

i hear you lambiskut, i onli fed SH to fluffy for 3 days and then change back to RC36. my cat oso dun laik SH, so i thot this product surely won't do any good to them.

Hedgie being noisy? no la, they are usually very quiet. you will rarely hear them making noise, unless if you buy cheap wheel that creaks when hedgie is running on it, which i dont think you would.

i'd suggest you buy from Hedgehog World Malaysia FB group if you want a good sturdy wheel. their bedding set with wheel costs rm125 (including postage, goods posted from penang) and you'll get something like this:



they sell these in many other color opsyuns if you wan variations

actually it's not that hard at all at 1st b4 i bought the wheel, my hedgie pee poo everywhere she wants especially at corners, with her poo mostly 'hanging' on the corner walls eventho i put litter box in her cage.

then after i got the wheel (the wheel is sturdy and silent), i noticed she only pee poo on the wheel when using it. and the excrement automatically falls down into the litter box under it when she starts running. so the bedding always stays clean, i only wash it like once every 2 weeks. the only thing i found myself cleaning every 2 days is the wheel (very easy to dismantle and install back) and litter box... oh, and my hedgie's feet. the poo always stuck under her nails

rm75 if u buy just the wheel. rm125 and you'll get a full set, add another rm10 and you'll get the igloo type of house.

i only use pouch for travel, my hedgie has her own igloo house. i use the cloth as bedding, usually wash it once every 2 weeks, and she oso sometimes dig2 under the cloth and ended up using it as her blanket/comforter

if u read the earlier posts they said wood bedding is not good for hedgie coz of their nature likes to scratch and dig, the wood dust might suffocate their tiny lungs. you might wanna change it

extend ur search to ikano. i just bought 3 packs there last sunday.

no lah.. they sell like in this kind of packaging
