Dear all,

I'm new to hedgehog been reading the recent post and find myself very interested to have one. Do you suggest to start with a adopted (mature aged) hedggie or a baby? is there anyone putting up hedgehog for adoption?

Anyone willing to guide me to be a hedgehog owner?

i was thinking of adopting since there is a few on the adoptiong page they are 1-3 yr old.

are they alright with dogs? i have a lil dog running around the house n sleeps with me very friendly dog n ok with other animals, not too worry bout the dog as he listens to me but more worried of the new hedgehog that i might be bringing in

That's helpful.. introducing animal to the family is not too hard for me..

omg i'm getting my 1st hedgehog tomorrow evening~~!! can't wait!!

Here's baby Kelly ^•^ she is the grumpiest one in the litter but I choose her. font know y but i just love her....she's still very grumpy when ever I'm near her or try to pick her up.

Any tip on how to toilet train?

i don't know if this is normal~ i got my hedggie last friday, she's that grumpy type.. 1st night i did't hold her as i didn't want to stress her even more after the car ride n all, she was active at night, the 2nd day i start holding her for like 5-10 min before my bed time. and that night onwards she was quiet, even at mid night she's just hidding under the lil blanket.

Is this normal?? she is around 7weeks old and eating fine~~

what is the best bedding for hedgie? I bought this paper bedding for small animals from the pet shop it says it reduces smell n also flushable but i found that the bedding itself smells =.=. I need something healthy for my hedggie n at the same time eleminate smell effectively as my hedggie in place in my room, and also easy to get as i will need to get them quite often ( i chage the bedding quite frequently).

Please advise

looking for a bigger enclosure for my hedggie, any suggestion? currently she is in a biggest storage box tht u can get from tesco..
