my hedgie is in quilling process as well, i noticed there is small tiny quill around her cage and all of them have little ball in the end. And also new quill poking out from her skin, that must be very painful. sad.gif her attitude changed as well, sleep like there is no tomorrow. A couple of olive oil will make her feel better???

guys i been reading online & i found out that many hedgehog owners faced this problem: "hedgehog poop on the wheel while running" this makes the wheel to be covered with a layer of poop in the morning...

so my question is how many of you faced this problem? hedgehog poop must be smelly right since they eat cat food? (because cat poop is smelly tongue.gif )

also can we litter train them to poop in the litter box? like hamsters...they poop anywhere plus the poop will stuck at their butt always....we can only litter train them to pee in the litter box but they will poo anywhere....(but its ok because their poo gets hard like a rock in few minutes)....

how about hedgehog? after litter train do they poop in the litter box only or just like hamster they will poo while running, etc?
*
my hedgie likes to poop while she's running on the wheel and the wheel is in a mess in the morning..LOL..their poop is not kinda smelly also la from my point of view (maybe others might feel it's smelly.. biggrin.gif )
