My hedgie sleeps all the time and she don't do her wheel at all. What I read about other ppl's hedgie, most of them loves their wheel, but mine don't. Mine just sleeps, eat and poops sad.gif Is there anything I can do that I can encourage her to use the wheel?
Btw, the wheel is solid with size 20cm(H) x 20cm(W) x 9cm(D)

3ssa, how old is your hedgie? Babies sleep a lot.

She's 5 months now... still consider baby? Is it normal if the hedgehog don't exercise at all and sleep all the time (except its feeding time)? She can even easily fall asleep while I have her in my arm.
Sorry for dumb question, this is my first time having hedgehog as pet.

Thanks ddr3.
Watching her sleep often put a smile on my face. She's the cutest thing ever when she sleeps lol
but if only she could be more hyper, that would make me happier rclxm9.gif

I got her from my sista's friend (he's not a member here)

hahaha, where is ur location, if dekat i wanna take 1 cuddler type hedgie, cannot tahan wif hyperactive children, i wonder if im the same hyperactive back then  hmm.gif

I'm in Puchong. My sis friend is in Sunway.
My sis also got her snp hedgie from him, and her snp is super-hyper-active and hissing all the time! lol
He told us it could be from genetic as mine hedgie's mommy is very very tame one, and my sis hedgie's parents is very active and grumpy.

Hi all hedgehog owner
I've been looking for a very dark color hh. People has been telling me it's call the salt and pepper... but all the snp I found was merely lighter color (1st picture). I'm looking for the kind of charcoal black (2nd picture).
Can someone tell me can this be found in Malaysia? and what color it call?
