Interesting, the canned worms and crickets are tempting too (no more taking care of live worms that attracts ants X_x ) and also that nice running wheel they have but rm100 X_x

I've look up on the wheels and running balls at Sunway Pyramid's pet lover shop but most of them are cracked >.>

I haven't.
I don't buy commercial hedgehog food because the pros say that it's not recommended.
If you do buy it, I guess you can mix it with RC.
Pretty costly though, this hedgehog food.

Try not to buy the canned insects. I've read of cases where hedgies get constipated because of the lack of moisture in the insects. If you know Jusco Bukit Tinggi, Klang, there's another branch inside & they sell them in good condition.
If you can't, I can buy one for you & pass it over to you in Sunway Pyramid if you go there on a weekday or something since I study nearby.

to those in pj area, be wary of getting mealworms for now. i scouted the usual pet shops from section 14 > s.e.a park > ss2 and was finally told by an old man in a pet shop that the mealworms had some black plague going on and they were all ordered to literally burn them to control the outburst.

so, yeah.

there was this once, when i purchase certain batch of superworms
i belive they have some sickness where they can't last very long
usually die within a week and very contagious among the superworms..
they will die and rot when infected, all within a cuople of hours...
when they die, their body will leave a gaping hole at the bottom near thier neck
the other mealworms that ate this dead worm will eventaully be infected and die as well...

i feel u too. I have a black beetle. yellow and beige pupa, yellow and black superworm , black dead superworm and beige shedded superworm lol

Your landlord won't even know it if you keep the worms in a tiny container.
It should be the same price as the other branches in M'sia.
If I'm not mistaken, it's RM85.90 or around that price range.
More than 80 but less than 90, that's for sure.

I have to buy my female SnP back because the owner had an emergency. I guess I'd have a bit of time left with her before I have to sell her again.

EDIT: I checked the price of the wheel & it's RM85.80. I even took a picture of it but I lost the cable for my phone so...

mhmm. and this have been going on for about 2 months as well. i'm kinda glad my hog didn't want to eat the last batch i got, since one of the shops literally said "no more, got issues".

gosh thn maybe i should stop feeding Neftie the worms coz i bought it not long ago from ss 14 .. how does this black plague look like?

i didn't really ask about the symptoms but from what jitshiong said, telltale sign would be your um, stock? dying off and eventually infecting others.

also if you're looking for the wheel still, pet lovers center in ss2 mall still had 2 last i checked a week ago.

Does this plague infect superworms or mealworms?
Or both?
