hi all, i'm new here, just bought Sonic yesterday, I notice he dont eat much the cat food that I put inside the bowl.. kept sleeping all the time.. he's 2 month old according to the person that I bought him from. Is it normal for him to act like that? I put my shirt in, and he kept sleeping inside the shirt that I put

i tried with newspapers before and its not because of the papers....
it is that he seems like to hurt himself...

U guys didn't provide any hide box for your hedgie? Like what I did, just an ice-cream container with a piece of fleece solve any digging problem... What's more hurting themselves...lol

Chubster clicks at me once in a while as well. And yes, it's probably because you smelled different.
Huffster no longer clicks at me. He just huffs a lot & lunges at my hands with his visor down.

it was surreal. i kinda teared a little? lol

Actually, they like to dig by nature. Just let them dig... haha

Don't worry. It's most probably the smell. take this for an example. my friend apply mask on her face, meanwhile, she play with her sugar glider. When she goes near the cage, the sugar glider got shocked and jump backwards. Haha.

Try observe her behaviour and see if there's anymore clicking. Good luck

actually i didnt give my girl a hide box when she first came until the following week later, until now she seldom use it, maybe used to sleep without one..

urs at least hide under it, mine use it as a toilet thats y no hidebox for him, he likes under newspaper

haha...lucky my Rocky is a little toilet trained now...i prepared the hidebox with fleece, bottom of the container covered with newspapers and i also provided a litter tray with wooden shaving...slowly he learn to poo and pee in the wood shaving only...

Rocky is cool.. My cottie is 30% toilet trained, she poops one piece inside her poop box, and poops the other 2/3 pieces outside

Got the chock in my life juz now when i picked Leo up, i found blood at his back, so i checked thoroughly and guess what, he scratched himself due to the ingrown quills..... here is the quill
