@sowhoon - you'll get used to it, i kinda find it amusing when they do their headbutts tongue.gif
balling up and clicking on the other hand, experienced it once and i'm done, do.not.want to experience that again. like ever.
*

Ken.B and Olivur> I've switched to oats, now i just need to get vege (always eat out so don't have vege at home, sucks too be a student D:) I tried banana previously... but the ants in my room went wild.... (another reason why i don't eat or cook at home, the ants here are crazy fast to detect food)
*
the ants problem can be solved easily with the "ant powder" that can be bought in any hardware shops or pasar malam....only cost around rm0.50 to rm1 per pack....

as for the mealworms, do not wet them with any water at all....like suggested by the others, oats + carrots will be the best feed.....

btw, i saw alot of vomit in Rosie's home yesterday...now i starting to get worried as she is not eating the kibbles and drink very little water daily....all she do it sleep and running on the wheel when she is awake....will take one or two mealworms sometimes but thats all it...she will stop eating right after that... icon_question.gif

only saw the vomit yest....
might be something wrong with the mealworms....gotta dispose it off today....

currently only plain water + kibbles for Rosie and shall monitor for few days before taking further actions...the thing is, she is still very active running on the wheel whole nite, even this morning...sweat...

Omg!! Today I was cleaning the mess of my hedgehog enclosure.
As always its a mess so I'll be cleaning while letting him explore around.
Today, he run back to his enclosure and I jus continue cleanibg.
Then he wanted to go out so I'm willing to assist him out of it.
So I let his sniff my hand first and POM!! Here he bite!!!
This is my very first time that he bites me but wad I can say is that, it doesnt hurt even though it bleed.
*
wow it bleeds....but u were saying not pain?
lucky my Rosie attempt to bite me was foiled when i swiftly pull my hands away the other day right before her teeth sinked into my palm...she was sniffing, licking and about to bite as i felt here teeth slip on my skin.... sweat.gif

you really shouldn't pull away when they're attempting to bite you, it'll hurt them more doing so >_<
*
its up to the owner actually, if they can predict what their hedige gonna do next, then of course we would want to avoid been snap on the hands rite...for example, if your hedgie is already licking your hands, u shud know what is coming next...haha

You live in Bandar Baru currently??? surprise.. haha...

I saw it with my own eyes, the ants take a detour around the powder. doh.gif Kampar hostel has problem with ants and cats.. haha..
nope, i am not in Kampar currently...only will be back there during festive seasons (CNY) cos my grandparents is there....
i suspect the ant powder u bought is fake....even the ants dun feel like taking the fake stuffs....lol
