Well, if you know how to check your modem for SNR and Line Attenuation value then you're ok, SNR should above 20 best for up to 4Mbps and Line Attenuation should below 35 for best performance.
If you don't know anything about even your modem, just call up TM and tell them you want to upgrade, provide them subscriber detail, phone number for StreamyX, name, IC, etc. then they'll go to your house to check for availability, if it pass then he can activate for you on the spot and you can start using it within 3 days.

UniFi on the other hand is still new, it'll take a while for them to become stable like StreamyX now, last time StreamyX also everyday down, unstable, and lots of rebates for early subscribers to compensate the inconvenience. sweat.gif
First StreamyX package is only 384Kbps/128Kbps if anyone still remember, but the Hotmail page open like it open from local computer, it was that fast, even with such slow speed... was enjoyed that for 1 year+ before they decide to expand and congested like today doh.gif
