[size=2]Official Licenced PSVita Case

London, February 3rd, 2012 – For its first officially-licensed PS Vita accessories, Thrustmaster is proud to introduce a team of 3 experts in protection and transportation, each with their own specific personality!

user posted image
With the V.I.P. Case for PS Vita, Thrustmaster has taken a very fashion-oriented approach: it has been designed for PS Vita owners looking for a touch of elegance and style. This case was created for V.I.P. (Very Important Player) users who appreciate pure lines and aesthetically pleasing creations. Their PS Vita, like any important personality, must be able to enjoy discreet protection that's also efficient – like a personal bodyguard. The V.I.P. Case for PS Vita is perfectly tailored to the shape of the console. What's more, its main color codes – black and silver – are in perfect harmony with those of the PS Vita.

user posted image
The S.P.F Case for PS Vita – all black and silver, just like the PS Vita itself – is a perfect match for the usual colors employed by elite forces. Its extra-large size instantly commands respect and reflects its excellent shock resistance, as well as its ability to be transported any way the user wishes. Its interior features high-density foam, inspired by military cases, and is perfect for keeping everything in place. The upper section allows the user to store up to 6 games in dedicated compartments, and includes specific spaces to protect the console's mini-sticks when the case is closed. Opening the case is secured by way of a lateral sliding system for the release latches. The case has also been specially designed to optimize the PS Vita's wireless functions. A “Thrustmaster S.P.F.” dog tag is also featured on the outside of the case’s top cover, for a truly military-grade appeal.

user posted image
Last but not least: for users keen on adventure, Thrustmaster is offering a case dedicated to the world of Nathan Drake – the unstoppable hero of UNCHARTEDTM, who will be making a return for the launch of this platform with the new opus entitled “Golden Abyss”: the Shock Resistant Case for PS Vita. It includes the same features as its partner the S.P.F Case, in terms of its extra-large size, solid construction and the materials employed, including high-density foam. It also includes storage spaces for 6 games, as well as compartments designed for optimized protection of the PS Vita’s mini-sticks. The closing and opening system is also secured by way of lateral-sliding release latches. This case has also been specially designed to optimize the PS Vita’s wireless functions.

Hmm, no joystick?

I first heard about ThrustMaster through the HOTAS Warthog for DCS' A-10 sim

But I think you guys should have cheaper alternative too, perhaps just a joystick without the throttle controller biggrin.gif

I have an old Thrustmaster Pro Flight System Joystick bought in the mid 90's. Needs mods to repair the grip but pointless since the game port is obsolete; can no longer use it. Used to love WWII sims and mastering deflection shooting.

Although the HOTAS WARTHOG looks tempting I don't think I'm in the market for one. Joystick and throttle control without rudder pedals does not make for a realistic experience.

But of course , The Hotas warthog still give you a good experience of using the flight stick compare ot the others. just my opinion tho, what about ur old pro flight joystick. do u plan to upgrade one ? which model do u prefer tho ?

You can get good experience even with a cheap one. Many years ago, I bought a cheap RM20 PC Fair Joystick with 1 week warranty but it broke after 2 months (weekend use only). It had a good dead center after calibration and I had a blast playing European Air War. My main priority for getting one again is reliability. Nothing wrong with the use of plastic but the design must be good enough to withstand normal use.

I'm in no hurry to get one. Give me an user serviceable, all metal joystick, throttle and rudder pedals with hall effect sensors, a high build quality that lasts a lifetime and I'll be in queue to get one.

There's a lot of good games out there that does not need a joystick. Keyboard and mice will do for now... icon_rolleyes.gif

Overall its a nice controller to use =D ... For dynasty warrior 6 is ok =D ...Just need to reallocate a few buttons. For streetfighter I think using a keyboard is easier because if I try to use skills with the controller, example Ryu's ''abukit'' needs to drag down to left/right, somehow if you fail to execute the skill then it becomes jump over...For his super, its same as ''abukit'' but need to do movement twice, so very very hard to execute it.

This is just imo =D ...

Now, I'm looking for the Saitek Pro Flight Combat Rudder Pedals but unfortunately till now still can't find it in KL. Any help?

Currently trying to fly the A-10C in DCS game... After 3 days, I still can't fly it properly. The manual alone have about 700 pages. Feel like I'm back to school. I hate school !!!

@ heavyarm
You ask for it as I'm not good in writing. However, this is not a personal review but sort of first impression...

Both stick and throttle are very very heavy. Almost all parts are made of metal.
The stick comes with a huge heavy metal plate (To prevent noob like me flipping the stick all over the desk when trying to avoid missiles from the enemy, success rate always = 0)
Buttons and switches are very sturdy built too. But I found that to press those buttons you need a strong thumb and fingers. But people said that is how the real thing work. Anyway, all works as advertised. smile.gif I did compare the HOTAS with the real thing (pictures from net of cos) and it really look like the real control in the A-10C.
Love the cold metal feel on the stick and those green led lights on the throttle...

To program the HOTAS you'll need to download the "TARGET" software from Thrustmaster website.
Very powerful and easy to use software according to some review… but to program complicated functions, you'll need to mess with scripting language which i'm still puzzling. Hope there'll be some nice GUI available in future updates.
But if you're going to play DCS A-10C then good news, just load the built-in profile from the game and you're good to go with the realistic control (except the trim hat). Installed the drivers and fire up the game without problem using the HOTAS. I forgot to install the TARGET program (too excited at the time).

I'm currently playing DCS A10-C using my 17" Macbook Pro and a dell external display with Windows 7 partition.

Bottom line, I love the Warthog HOTAS (Hand On Throttle And Stick) from Thrustmaster very much. It is a "must buy" for flight simulations fan. Selling at RM1999 at Viewnet but I got it from HeavyArm at a very good discount.

Copied from Thrustmaster site :

T.A.R.G.E.T
(Thrustmaster Advanced pRogramming Graphical EdiTor) is a software suite allowing users to test, configure and program Thrustmaster® controllers: HOTAS WARTHOG™, MFD Cougar, HOTAS Cougar™ and T.16000M.

Which mean all those buttons and switches funtions on the HOTAS can be change to suit your taste. I prefer the realistic functions (profile available in the game itself) thus this save me from doing all those setting and scripting programming.
You can choose from built in profile available or build one yourself with it. Or get the profile from other fellow simmers.

I did mention the games I'm into now... A-10C from DCS and Falcon 4.0 Allied Force sad.gif
The hotas itself seems to build for this game...
Try here to have a look at the DCS A-10C... http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/

Hmm... Ace Combat? Is it the arcade game?

You should aim higher. Get a rudder pedal from dhs-electronic instead.

dhs-electronic

Their rudder pedals are made from metal and uses hall effect sensors. The F-16 replica looks nice. brows.gif Would love to get the Warthog but without a matching rudder set I'd rather wait for one.

For me, difficult to pilot a simulated Me109 without one since it tends to skid during turns making deflection shooting frustrating. Boom and zoom tactics with Me262 is OK though.

Their F16 pedals look nice. May consider they have distributor in M'sia as I still have my Cougar with me. Hall sensors... all my sensors in my Cougar was modified to this sensors. Thrustmaster cougar sensors sucks big time.

I think it is real hard to get rudder pedals in KL. Now, can't even find the most common Saitek pedals... sigh... cry.gif

It is strange that the TARGET software didn't include the calibration option.
However, if the stick or throttle not centered, you can download the tools from this link at post #7, #8 and #36 for the latest one. I have not use them tho.

OK i can only give u a very short review of T500RS tongue.gif

First, i'm more into simracing, iRacing & rFactor. Didnt test it with arcade games like Dirt3 etc.

Bought the T500RS from ModernoPC few weeks ago.

Previously using Fanatec GT2 plus CSP (Club Sport Pedal) bought it from Gamers Hideout @ Cineleasure.

Conclusion tongue.gif

FFB = T500RS > Fanatec GT2

now i'm using combination of T500RS Wheel plus Fanatec CSP Pedal, the T500RS pedal & Fanatec GT2 wheel rest in the box tongue.gif

both T500RS Wheel & Fanatec CSP Pedal feel like cheating in games...u do simracing like driving a real car thumbup.gif

T500RS really great & delivered the satisfaction thumbup.gif

Thrusmaster Malaysia......please bring the Ferrari F1 Wheel addon ASAP whistling.gif

feel free to join us:
www.malaysiansimracers.com

Oh 1 more, tested the T500RS playing GT5 PS3, and its way better than G27/G25 seriously biggrin.gif

Cant test it with Forza4, not compatible....try to cucuk the USB but x360 cannot detect the wheel...lol

the feeling is nice..luv the buttons...but need some times getting used to.. but the wheel handle for me is a bit thin..maybe as it was f1 replica, drivers are using gloves and will have better grip / feeling.. if bare handed it feels kinda thin.. smile.gif

planning to add extra wrapping / upholstery i.e alcantara on the wheel handle part. hope can have more firm gripping feeling smile.gif

Bought a Thrustmaster USB joystick few days ago from Viewnet

http://www.thrustmaster.com/en_UK/products/usb-joystick

RM55 only and it's really worth the price.

Planning to get the RM99 wheels the next time I visit again.

The USB joystick is good. Using it to play HAWX and it's totally compatible.
However, the lack of buttons are one of the disadvantage, given the kind of budget.

Nevertheless, those who want to experience playing flight simulation game with joystick but on tight budget could try this. It's only RM65 in the store if I'm not mistaken.

Have yet to go grab the universal 5 in 1 wheel. smile.gif

Probably today. Somehow satisfied with first Thrustmaster product, even tho it's budget gear.

OT : My 2 months old Razer Onza went haywire when the d-pad just keep pressing down and calibration can't be done properly. Need to RMA already. doh.gif.

Btw, I'm looking forward for Flight Yoke from Thrustmaster. Any possible coming soon product?

I tried that F1 theme gamepad, doesn't really like the handle.
Still prefer the Xbox version one, tho I don't actually own Xbox or play Xbox at all.

So far, only Saitek offer good Yoke with all the accessories. Warthog are more suitable for playing flightsim with Jet. Yoke are basicly for most aircraft.

Not really a fan of racing, but I tried playing Bus & Cable Car Simulator - End up the game doesn't really support so much on wheels gear.

Yesterday night tried on NFS : Hot Pursuit - Overall control good.
Gonna re-download my Euro Truck Simulator and try tonight smile.gif

IMHO, most racing game like NFS shouldn't have any problem with this. I'll test drive with Dirt and Dirt 2 tomorrow night when I get home smile.gif

If you're looking into simulations, then it's better to have a better gear.

Sorry sweat.gif Was busy recently and I just gotten myself a copy of BF3 laugh.gif

I tested Dirt 2 yesterday night - Same, it is compatible, but you have to config the wheels in the game itself.
Gonna test with GRID whenever available.

Hi Thrustmaster Malaysia.

I bought T500RS from ModernoPC early of this year.

Now having some problem with the left paddle shifter, its not working properly, unable to downshift and miss gear.

I need to check where to send for the warranty.

Thx.

I think u can search for these products at Lowyat plaza or ur local game store. If u r looking for models which they will not bring in, then u need to purchase online from Thrustmaster or Amazon.
