Hi Guys. Just need some advice from you guys whether if you can still work out after having a tattoo done? I'm planning to get one on my biceps , so kindly advise what are the do's and don'ts after the tatoo. Can i still work out as usual? How long are my resting days? Thanks in advance.

basic tattoo care is that you dont expose the healing flesh under the sun or swim/soak in water too long for at least 2-3 weeks. 1 of my tattoos i had it 10yrs ago, before i started lifting and 1 more slightly below my neck a couple of years ago, so both didnt affect my workout at all...

Understand but after embedding the tattoo, can you still work out as usual or you rest for some time? How long do you need to rest? not too sure la bro. why don't you ask the tattoo artist? Since the ink is just beneath the skin, i don't really think it's a good idea to keep contracting your muscle (since your skin tightens when muscles are contracted) else you would risk breaking the ink underneath your skin. maybe?
sorry bro. not much of a help.

It's alright, at least you did let me know about taking care of the tattoo as well. Will be getting maybe next week Cheers.
