basically same as the one i ordered at hp's site. stayed the same way for 10 odd hours till i finally called them to confirm my us billing / shipping address and all that noise.

i paid by paypal, so no such thing as billing address i presumed.

that's what i thought as well. when i forgot to bring back some of my stuff earlier this.. mwell summer, i got my cousin to mail them to me. among the stuff was my jawbone. my cousin described them as "gifts". (this was via fedex) next thing i know fedex rang me up and said one of the things sangkut dekat kastam kerana merupakan alat telekomunikasi.

i was like ha?

sirim with full detail of the device > wait > get letter with some number > inform fedex > fedex informs customs > customs gives greenlight > fedex ships > sirim says i need to bring in the device to be checked in > turns out that "some number" is just so i could get it INSPECTED.

depends on luck,sometime my item clear customs easily . Can we just tell them its a laptop? Then no need get sirim approval lor

but if it gets "caught", confiscation at best, chargess pressed for smuggling attempt at worst ._.?

is it even worth it to buy HP laptops now considering they will sell off their PC divison. Value wise? And the new buyer might even need to change name just like how IBM was change to Lenovo...
