can anyone tell me why syrian must be place in a tank instead of the normal hamster cages..coz i was telling my aunt since she wants a syrian hamster and i advice her to use the tank instead of the normal hamster cage..i told her the size of the tank is not relevant for a syrian..her excuse was tat she bought a lot of connecting tubes to add to another cage to make it bigger..so i need a solid answer.

thanks everyone..i will try futher explain to her..she has the habbitrail safari cages..she plan to reuse them..which i dun reccomend her using it
