Hi guys. I'm kinda new to this pet. Just bought a long-haired Syrian hamster and currently i am using this type of bedding, http://chipsi-streu.de/cgi-bin/wPermission...t.shtml?navid=1. Is this type of bedding suitable for my hamster?

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(infernoaswen @ Nov 20 2011, 05:04 PM) there are many types of chipsi bedding which is yours? if its for hamster then should be ok...packaging should look like this » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « anyway i m using chipsi also, so far its good but i yet to try delikate bedding brand some say that is better...just make sure u change the bedding twice a week, other useful info all are available in the first page on how to toilet train, food etc... u cant force them to exercise, as long as they know how to use the wheel is ok already they will use it when they want to. My hamster always like to run on the wheel . But if u really want your hamster to get some exercise then u can buy a hamster ball & put your hamster in there for few minutes to let them run in it & exercise. But bear in mind not all hamster like the ball (some might like it) coz i bought last time but my hamster end up sleeping & peeing in the ball instead of exercising so i sold it. since my hamster exercise using his wheel so i dont need the ball la....plus at night i will take him out & let him roam in my room, u can do that too but just make sure there is nothing harmful or dangerous & keep an eye on him. Yes mine is the same, written "Classic" on the packaging,I've read some of the informations on the first page, and found out that this thread is really helpful indeed. =)
